Boot Hill Museum is thrilled to report construction is in full force for its expansion project. This project is made possible through a STAR Bond initiative and in partnership with the City of Dodge City. Learn more about the Star Bond Project here!
The museum will remain open regular business hours during construction. The People of the Plains building, the Rath General Store, the Long Branch Saloon, all of the Beeson Gallery and the First Union Church will be open daily. The Occident room remains accessible and available for events.
Winter hours are Monday – Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Boot Hill Museum closes at 2:00 pm on Christmas Eve and is closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day
Crews are busy working on the part of the expansion project that you WON’T see when it is finished! Many existing under ground utilities that service the current buildings are being relocated to allow the placement of the new building.
