Construction Update

Exterior masonry is nearly completed. Window frames have been installed and glass will be installed in the next few days. The patio on the north side of the building has been poured. Sheet rock has been installed inside the entire museum and painting has begun. Construction has stared off site for many of the exhibit pieces as well. May 2020 is going to be here soon!

Boot Hill Museum is thrilled to report construction is in full force for its expansion project. This project is made possible through a STAR Bond initiative and in partnership with the City of Dodge City. Learn more about the Star Bond Project here!

ConstructionThe museum will remain open regular business hours during construction. The People of the Plains building, the Rath General Store, the Long Branch Saloon, all of the Beeson Gallery and the First Union Church will be open daily. The Occident room remains accessible and available for events.

Winter hours are Monday – Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Boot Hill Museum closes at 2:00 pm on Christmas Eve and is closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day
