Chuckwagon Dinner
What is that delicious smell coming from the Occident Saloon? Why it's the smell of slow roasted beef brisket, yummy fried taters and onions, corn in sweet cream & butter sauce, creamy coleslaw, and fresh melt in your mouth hot biscuits & honey! And don't forget Grandma Sally's apple crisp! Nightly during the summer season you have the best Chuckwagon supper in the Old West, right here at Boot Hill Museum.

Boot Hill Gunfighters
Stop for a moment and imagine you are on Front Street during 1878, out from the Long Branch's swinging doors a cowboy is tossed out, during a brawl. From the East end of the street, a group of cowboys, fresh off the cattle trail; mosey into town and are confronted by the Marshal and his boys. On the board walk are can-can dancers from the Saloon and Miss Kitty, the storekeeper is in the doorway of the Rath General Store, the fight is on! There are laws in Dodge City about 'the carryin' of firearms, which are prohibited on the North side of the tracks. This is the setting for the Boot Hill Gunfighters, which appear nightly and at high noon during the summer season.

Long Branch Variety Show
After you have filled your belly and witnessed a gunfight, you can sit in the cool atmosphere of the Long Branch Saloon, where Miss Kitty and Chalkley Beeson, owner of the Long Branch, will entertain you. There's singing, comedy, as well as the famous Can-Can dancers. The hour-long variety show is well worth the visit. While there, you may want to try one of our specially bottled sarsaparillas or have a cold Budweiser right from the tap. In fact, bartenders served Anheuser-Busch, in the Long Branch, as early as 1885! Don't miss this entertaining evening of events, you won't believe the price!

Daily Summertime Entertainment
Young and old will be entertained by Professor P. Q. Montgomery and his associate who will give a comedic skit on the value of Prickly Ash Bitters. It cures what ails ya'!

Children and parents may step into the 1915 Superior School House and play games, listen to storytelling, and do crafts.

Don't miss the chance to get your little cowboy or cowgirl deputized by Front Street's own Marshal. Be sure to bring your video camera!

Be sure to come to the Long Branch Saloon and learn the Can-can!

Listen to Historical Presentations being performed in the Long Branch Saloon, and newly renovated Boot Hill Exhibit Building.

At 12:00 noon (12:30 on Wednesday) and 7:00 P.M. see "Conflict on Front Street," performed by the Boot Hill Gunfighters.

At 6:00 P.M. don't miss the delicious Chuckwagon Dinner served in the Occident Saloon.

And finish your visit with the 7:30 P.M. World Famous Long Branch Variety Show, performed on stage in the Long Branch Saloon. It is the longest running show of its kind.
